Companion Therapy Laser

Laser therapy provides a non-invasive, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment which is used to treat a variety of conditions and can be performed in conjunction with existing treatment protocols.  Relief and/or improvement can be noticed within hours depending on the condition and your pet’s response.   After a few treatments you will begin to see the full effect and benefits laser therapy can have on your pet. Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, healing from wounds, or simply aging, your companion can benefit from this innovative approach to treating pain.

How does it work?

Laser therapy stimulates the body to heal from within. Non-thermal photons of light are administered to the body for about 3 to 8 minutes and absorbed by the injured cells. The cells are then stimulated and respond with a higher rate of metabolism. This results in relief from pain, increased circulation, reduced inflammation, and an acceleration of the healing process.

Common Applications for laser therapy include:

  •     Treatment of arthritis, degenerative joint disease, hip dysplasia
  •     General pain management (sprains, strains and stiffness)
  •     Post-surgery pain (spays, neuters, declaws and other surgical procedures)
  •     Skin problems (hot spots, lick granulomas, infections)
  •     Dental procedures (especially with severe gum disease or if extractions are needed)
  •     Fractures and wounds (bites, abrasions, abscesses)
  •     Ear infections and hematomas

Laser Surgery

Laser Surgery is an exciting option for the safe and comfortable treatment of your pet.  In most surgical procedures, the laser can replace the scalpel and provide a better alternative to traditional surgery.

The Surgical Laser offers many advantages over conventional surgery:

  •     Less Pain
  •     Less Bleeding
  •     Less Swelling
  •     Faster Healing

Digital Radiology

Conventional X-ray equipment has been used for decades, with the basic technology remaining virtually unchanged.  Today, the evolution of digital technology allows a variety of enhanced options to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of your pet.

Digital radiography allows for:

  •     Improved image quality
  •     Increased efficiency
  •     Ability to easily send images for referral when needed

Ultrasonic Dental Scaler

Unlike other ultrasonic tooth scalers that use a "jack hammer" approach, this scaler uses a more gentle technique with revolutionary rotational tip movement and ultrasonic removal of plaque and calculus leaving a highly polished finish.

  •     Gentle and safer for your pets teeth and gums
  •     Faster and easier to use decreasing the time under anesthesia
  •     Less damage to the tooth enamel
